DSFS is proud to be deploying a new digital solution for our Porters and Estates colleagues.

Micad is replacing the previous system used, called Backtraq.

We are happy to announce we successfully launched phase one the of the solution, the Portering module, on the 30 January 2023, with little to no disruption to services across Chesterfield Royal Hospital.  This phase has provided a new and improved system for users to request services and to help the porters respond.  A further benefit has been new Apple devices to replace the obsolete Personal Digital Assistants (PDA) used by the porters.
