Our History
The East Midlands Acute Providers Digital Design Collaborative (EMAP DDC) was established through a shared ambition among NHS acute trusts across the East Midlands: to work together as a connected healthcare system and accelerate digital transformation for the benefit of patients and staff.
Bringing together seven NHS trusts using Nervecentre as their Electronic Patient Record (EPR) platform, EMAP DDC enables partner organisations to share expertise, resources and experience. Rather than working independently, member trusts collaborate on common challenges, share learning and develop a shared vision for the future of digital healthcare.
Since its creation, EMAP DDC has provided a forum for leaders to make strategic decisions and guide their shared digital transformation journey. By aligning priorities and working together, trusts can maximise the value of their investments while improving patient care and staff experience.
