Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services (DSFS) is seeking an exceptional leader to step into the pivotal role of Managing Director.
This strategic position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our organisation – leading with compassion, driving commercial excellence, and ensuring that people and patients remain at the heart of all we do.
Working collaboratively across the Group, regional system, and beyond, the Managing Director will be accountable for the overall direction, culture, and performance of DSFS. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering on our ambitious strategy and operating plan, overseeing a diverse portfolio of services – from estates, ICT and procurement to environmental sustainability, retail and catering.
Our new leader will embody DSFS Values and champion innovation, continuous improvement, and inclusion. With a sharp commercial mind and inspirational leadership style, they will guide high-performing teams, nurture strategic partnerships, and deliver outstanding service across the board.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Board-level leadership experience and strong business acumen
- A proven ability to drive company-wide growth strategies
- Deep understanding of healthcare and commercial environments
- The confidence to lead change while staying people-focused
