Dedicated DSFS colleagues honoured with long-service awards
Celebrations took place this morning (Tuesday, 1 July) as several DSFS colleagues celebrated their long-service awards.
Two colleagues were presented with awards for 20 years’ continuous service with Chesterfield Royal Hospital and latterly DSFS, with a number of staff also receiving accolades for 15, 10 and 5-year milestones.
The ceremony, held at Chesterfield Royal Hospital’s wellbeing centre was the first long-service award ceremony hosted by DSFS, since the subsidiary company was set up in 2019.
Colleagues who picked up their long-service awards at today’s ceremony included:
- Sally Ludditt – Safety Management, 20 years
- Ged Holland – Safety Management, 20 years
- Sara-Lea Goodwin – Facilities Management, 10 years
- Melanie Ruck – PSA – Domestic, 10 years
- Dominic Heath – Estates – Electrical, 10 years





Each colleague was presented with a certificate and long-service badge by DSFS Director of IT and Infrastructure, Ian Hazel.
Ian commented: “It is wonderful to be celebrating with our passionate and hard-working staff who have achieved their long-service milestones today.
“Our motto is ‘Service Excellence Through Our People’ and our colleagues are at the centre of everything we do, contributing to the exceptional care of our patients every day.
“On behalf of DSFS and everyone connected with our hospital, I would like to place on record my sincere thanks to all colleagues receiving awards for their outstanding contributions.”
Several team members who were unable to attend today’s ceremony will also be presented with their long-service certificates in the coming days and weeks.
