After leaving catering college, Paul started his career and worked for several years in the Hotel and Catering industry, learning and developing a wealth of customer service experience. His career then progressed into Retail and Sales sectors where he worked in field sales and customer service driven roles for over 20 years.
Paul joined Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in November 2017, first taking up a role at Inkersall GP Surgery (Royal Primary Care) as a Reception/Admin assistant. Paul then moved into his role at Chesterfield Royal Hospital as Accommodation Co-ordinator in June 2018 where he has helped the accommodation team to grow and develop the Staff Accommodation Service at the hospital. The customer service experience brought from Paul’s earlier career has helped to ensure the accommodation service achieve exceptionally high standards for guests and tenants. The comfortable facilities support the hospital staff living in accommodation to be well rested to enable providing the best care to the patients of the hospital.
In the role of EAD, Paul is enthusiastic about representing his colleagues at Board level and keen to be part of the success and continued growth of DSFS.
