Operations Director

Chris joined the NHS in 1981 and has a number of technical Estates qualifications alongside his formal Estates and Facilities Management skills and experience. He’s worked in a number of key roles across Derbyshire Health Organisations including Regional Energy Manager; Capital Development Manager and Head of Estates. As previously the Trust’s Associate Director of Estates and Facilities, he provides leadership for our wide-ranging Estates and Facilities Services functions.

In transferring over to DSFS Chris is keen to create a company that works to best practice – and in the past he has worked with the Department of Health to develop national quality standards for estates and facilities services. As a member of the DSFS Board he is also looking forward to developing the company on a more commercial footing.
